Who We Are

The Office of Developmental Primary Care is a program within the Department of Family and Community Medicine. We are dedicated to improving health outcomes for people with developmental disabilities across the lifespan. The greatest area of need is for adolescents and adults. We are partnering with other stakeholders to develop resources for clinical service, advocacy, research and training.

We encourage you to access resources, provide feedback and join our growing collaborative of clinicians, educators, caregivers, students, and self-advocates.

Our Vision

All people with a developmental disability have access to health services that maximize their wellness and function.

Our Guiding Principle

Health care for people with developmental disabilities is interdisciplinary, team-based care, with patients and caregivers at the center of the team.
